Breast cancer has been repeatedly linked to Lynch Syndrome, and in general, is more common than traditional Lynch Syndrome related cancers such as colorectal, endometrial and ovarian cancer.   In her project she explored the use of breast tumors to serve a potential source for identifying Lynch patients via immunohistochemical screening in a BRCA negative population.
